Ashton Court

The estate is about 850 acres of woodland and meadows so you can have some fantastic walks around the woods, in the deer park or take your bicycles along the many tracks - you can go for ages or just have a quick jaunt, whatever you choose it's a great way to get a bit of exercise. There's also a ride-on miniature railway for toddlers in the summer, golf and other activities including a horseriding trail of 1.6 miles.

In the summer, there are usually a few ice cream vans, it's only a short wander from Clifton and yet you can feel that you are in remote countryside.

Miniature railway:
Entrance is via the Clifton Lodge Gate and is open to the public on 22 days each year, normally from March to October from 12noon to 5.15pm, weather permitting.
