Stagecoach South East Essex

Stagecoach South East Essex

STAGECOACH SOUTH EAST ESSEX has three schools, in Brentwood, Leigh-on-Sea and Wickford.

Brentwood Stagecoach is based at Sawyers Hall College, Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood. The Brentwood School attracts students from a very wide area and provides excellent facilities for children to develop their confidence and inter-personal skills. School runs on a Friday evening from 4.30 to 7.30pm for the main students (6-17 years) and 4.15 to 5.45pm for the Early Stages (4-7 years).

Wickford Stagecoach is one of Stagecoach's oldest schools in Essex. Based at Beauchamps School, it has been operating for over 10 years, making it one of the most successful in the area. School runs on a Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm for the main students (6-17 years) and 9.30 to 11.00am for the Early stages (4-7 years).

Southend Stagecoach is based at Blenheim School in Leigh-on-Sea. Catering for children of all ages and abilities, we actively encourage children to build up their confidence as well as their performance skills, especially their own creativity. Sessions here are from 2.30to 5.30pm (main school) and 2.45 to 4.15pm for the Early stages.

Students ages range from 4-16 years and classes are given by professionally qualified teachers. All of them have been performers in their own right before turning to teaching. There is nothing better than teachers who have done (or still do) what they actually teach. We welcome children from all backgrounds, of all ages and ability. Enthusiasm and potential are as good as talent and we actively encourage everyone to build up their confidence and realise their true potential. We encourage our students to take their LAMDA (drama) exams, however these are not compulsory. At the end of the summer term all Stagecoach South East Essex students take part in a major production at The New Empire Theatre in Southend where they put into practice everything that they have learned. This is a fantastic experience, giving students a real understanding of performing in a 'live' theatre. Parents receive written reports twice yearly and each school is independently inspected annually. For your own peace of mind Stagecoach retains the services of one of the UK's leading Child Protection Agencies. All adults involved are CPA registered.
