Racquet Rascals - Coaching

The classes for 3 - 7 year olds are fun and energetic, while aiding social development, building confidence and developing the ability to concentrate on close skills. The classes will develop fundamental movement skills, hand-eye co-ordination and familarise young children with specialised racquet sports equipment.

Classes are split into 3 groups 3 -4,  4 - 5 & 5 - 7 years. The sessions are 45 minutes long and take place at indoor venues such as church halls and sports centre's ensuring the weather won't be a factor. The class sizes are limited to 12 with a fun, play based approach to each session. All classes are planned to ensure that the skills achieved each week are built upon, teaching/developing movement, balance and co-ordination through racquet sports.

The classes are run by qualified, fully insured, CRB checked coaches using mini racquet equipment, provided for all the children to use. Each class consists of an initial warm-up followed by the planned session and end with a fun cool down game.
