STAGECOACH Bedford Performing Arts School has been providing quality part-time training in Singing, Dancing and Acting for almost 20 years. Principal and Vice Principal team Chris and Katie believe passionately that the life skills children learn at Stagecoach Bedford, will help kids throughout their education and into their adult lives. They focus on helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and imagination in children, whilst making sure they always have fun in a safe, professional and supportive environment.
Principal Chris Adams, along with his wife, Katie Rowley Jones, have both enjoyed successful careers in Musical Theatre, and Katie is currently playing Nessarose in Wicked in the West End. In a career spanning more than 15 years, she has worked with the likes of Idina Menzel, Whoopi Goldberg and Sheila Hancock. She has also taught at some of the top drama schools in London, as well as hosting many West End workshops.
Chris, after graduating from Performers College, (where he also gained his teaching qualifications), performed in numerous West End musicals, including Footloose and Grease. He also worked as a commercial dancer with the likes of Steps and Five, before pursuing a successful career with Billy Elliott, as technical manager.
They are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and experience, and bringing the West End a little closer to Bedford.
