Are you a family of intrepid travellers? If so, you probably love nothing more than grabbing your camera and heading to new and exciting places. There are many luxury holidays to be had out there and with some awe-inspiring sights to see there's certainly no time to waste before heading on your next break. With this in mind, here are 10 adventures every family must take.
1.Eiffel Tower, Paris - Standing 301 metres tall in the heart of one of the world's most romantic cities, the Eiffel Tower is a sight to behold and a must-see for anyone with a love of architecture, great views and exploration.
2.Sagrada Familia, Barcelona - Europe is home to many a wonderful attraction including Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, a stunning Roman Catholic Church design by renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. A work in progress, this religious building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that radiates both splendour and style.
3.Colosseum, Rome - Imagine the look on your little one's faces as they pretend to be a Gladiator for the day at Rome's infamous Colosseum. The size and structure of this landmark really is breath-taking so make sure you leave enough time to explore it properly.
4.Big Ben and The Palace of Westminster, London - A trip to London is exciting for adults and kids alike thanks to the array of grand and fascinating landmarks dotted around this cosmopolitan city. Big Ben and The Palace of Westminster are as opulent as they are picturesque and then of course there's The Thames, Trafalgar Square and London Bridge to capture your attention too.
5.Walt Disney Resort Florida, USA - Fancy venturing out of Europe and a little further afield? Then head across the pond to Walt Disney Resort Florida for the chance to meet your favourite characters, ride exhilarating rollercoasters, eat muffins for breakfast and much, much more. It's a kid's paradise that's sure to leave everlasting memories.
6.Disneyland, Paris - Alternatively, stay closer to home with a trip to Disneyland Paris. It's magical, it's vibrant and it's packed with fun, fast and fabulous rides that'll keep you coming back for more. There's something for everyone here, so unleash your wild side and go crazy.
7.Burj Khalifa, Dubai - Believe it or not, Dubai's family-friendly resorts make it a great location for families. Nestled in the Middle East, this county's home to spectacular deserts and incredible buildings including the Burj Khalifa skyscraper which stands an incredible 830 metres tall.
8.Central Park, New York City - It's featured in many a film including the Devil Wears Prada and Hitch and now you could see what all the fuss is about with a trip to New York's Central Park. Ideal for families it's the ideal place to run, skip, hop or enjoy a spot of ice skating during the chillier months.
9.Niagara Falls - The Maid of the Mist ferry service has been running since 1846, so why not check it out for yourself? Hear the thunderous noise of water as you pass by one of the most beautiful natural sites in the world and capture your magical moments with a photo or ten.
10.Sydney Opera House, Australia - Australia's renowned for its beautiful beaches and sensational wildlife but attractions also include the magnificent Sydney Opera House overlooking the stunning Sydney Harbour.Creating a family travel bucket list is a great way to focus your mind and set some proper goals for the year ahead, so check out the destinations above and head off on an adventure.
