Review of Playfoam Pals
Creative, indoor play without the mess? The bestselling, award-winning, mess-free, Playfoam provides endless fun for children ages 5-9 as they squish, squash and sculpt their way through play creating any shapes and objects they like.
The non-stick formula means it can be used over and over again and also means it can be taken anywhere for creative fun on the go.
Playfoam Pals have joined the collection this year too! Combining the anticipation of surprise collectibles with the award-winning, Playfoam, children love opening the Playfoam Pals pods to reveal a unique animal character encased in Playfoam. Heads and bodies can be mixed and matched for endless character combinations. There’s even an ultra-rare golden Pal…
This toy went down very well with my two children, aged 2 (nearly 3) and 5. The 5 year old found her toy immediately but then enjoyed making shapes etc with the balls. She then began to rehide it etc so she could find it again. The 2 year old found finding the toy very exciting, it took her a while to get the idea that she was looking for a toy but once she saw what her sister had found her enjoyment increased more and she loved digging around to find it.
Having found the toys they had their usual conversation of whether they were going to swap toys as they has both got different ones but ultimately decided to rehide them both together and see who could find them first! This has now become a daily game and I don’t anticipate them being bored of doing it for some time.
As a parent I was very glad that the balls did not stain anything and as they are slightly sticky they have not as yet ended up all over my house or trod into the carpet which I have found to be the issue with other similar products!
On the whole I would definitely recommend, it is great that you get 2 in the packet so they can share or have 2 different toys if only for one child. My five year olds friends were slightly envious when they saw the toys and I am sure a few may have added them on their Christmas list.
We have had the Playfoam Pals to play with and review. Well what can I say other than my children aged 9, 7 and 5 love it! It came with two plastic domes both containing a different colour foam and in the middle was a little wrapped up surprise, a little plastic toy animal. My children all got very excited about this bit and couldn't wait to find out what animal they hand form the list.
The foam itself I was surprised by it looks and feels sticky but when you play with it it doesn't get stuck to your hands and doesn't leave a residue. I was expected lots of stick hands but we didn't have any. My children had hours of fun playing with the play foam squeezing, squashing and pulling it apart. It also didn't dry out when we left it out of the side overnight. My children liked it so much they have asked for more for Christmas.
