Review of Betty Flyte
Our daughter loves her Betty Flyte because it’s bright, colourful and fun! She enjoys packing her own things independently as this gives her a sense of ownership and responsibility. The fact that it turns into scooter is an added bonus and adds to the fun.
We’ve mostly used our Flyte on weekends away around the UK. It’s been a great compromise with our 6 year old daughter, combining the folding scooter and the luggage and not having to find the room for the two things separately. Due to the luggage section being formed around the stem of the scooter, the internal space is compromised slightly. However, there is plenty of room to fit enough items for an overnight stay. When used as a scooter it was very secure and stable and coped well with uneven pavements.
When the scooter is folded away, the handle can be left up and the luggage used as any other luggage with two wheels. Although it’s a little low down for my husband, as he’s 6’2”, but ideal for a child. The Flyte could benefit from a slightly larger lifting handle, as my husband has fairly large hands and he’s most likely to be the one carrying it, when our daughter gets tired. A large removable shoulder strap may also be useful when being carried by an adult.
We would definitely recommend this product to others, it is practical and fun and appeals to the child as a tool to promote independence and to encourage outdoor activity. We look forward to using this product for future trips and holidays, we are hoping it will stand the test of time and continue to be a practical addition to busy family life. An item that saves some space in the boot when travelling would undoubtedly be welcomed my many families.
The Flyte case scooter is an evolution in kids travel. The Midi Flyte for ages 4-8 and the Mini Flyte for ages 2-4 turn every journey into an adventure, whether it’s a jaunt to the park, a trip round the world or just tackling the school run. With an easy-to-fold footplate that hides neatly within the case, the Flyte can also be used as an easy to pull along case or a compact piece of cabin sized luggage. Just fold this out and it transforms into a fully-functioning scooter with rock ‘n’ roll steering. Designed with vibrancy and quirkiness, the Flyte case scooter will be a child’s best travelling companion.
