Review of Battery Powered Engine Set
This little engine chugs along with a lamp lighting the way. A touch of a button puts this little engine in reverse! Set Switch on the electric engine and watch it and the carriages cheerfully work their way around this classic train set. As the train completes a circuit, a magnetic crane is waiting to load and unload cargo. Suitable for children aged 3 years.
- This train set includes a battery powered engine set, trees and a crane to bring your railway to life!
- The train carriages are brightly colored to attract the eye and encourage play
- Enhance your railway with one of the expansion packs available
- Helps to develop hand-eye coordination, creativity and sparks imagination
- Made with a commitment to sustainability. Compliant with international safety and quality standards.
My son recently received the Hape Battery Powered Engine train set. It comes with enough track to complete a small oval, a the magnetic crane, train complete with two carriages and two trees. The carriages come with removable magnetic loads that the crane can pick up as it goes round.
The train is battery operated with 2 AAA batteries and has both forward and reverse actions.
The quality of the track is superb and it goes with other wooden track we have, allowing us to build lots of different combinations. The magnets in the carriages were strong enough that the train stayed connected as it moved around the track. My son loved the fact that the train moved independently and tried to "catch" the magnetic bricks as the train went past.
The quality of the product made it really easy to use and kept both my children (3 and 5) entertained for quite some time. What was also great about this track is how well it went with our other Hape tracks and features. My son absolutely loves the jungle track and we added this together with the new track and trains.
The extensive Hape range means there is so much possibility with different combinations and makes for a fantastic winter's day entertainment.
The Howting Family
Isabella and Ben are the cutest half of our family - aged 5 and 3 they keep Mummy and Daddy on our toes! As a family we love getting creative, making a mess (Ben), dressing up (Isabella) and family days out.
