SwimSeal - Prevent getting painful ears caused by water exposure!
Swimming is seen by the vast majority of parents as an essential life skill - however many children suffer with water-related ear problems which can put them off swimming for life.
SwimSeal is a new product that prevents these ear problems and keeps children splashing around and enjoying the water. Two or three drops of SwimSeal in each ear works with the body's natural ear wax to create a waterproof barrier, which prevents water getting into the ear canal where infections are most common.
Often referred to as 'Swimmer's ear', the condition is an itchy, painful, outer-ear infection that can occur when bacteria in swimming water get through breaks in the skin.
SwimSeal has been developed by leading ENT (Ears, Nose and Throat) surgeons to prevent painful ears caused by exposure to water. It is suitable for all ages and retails at £7.99 from Swim Seal directly and similar prices at independent pharmacies. Each plastic bottle contains approximately 100 applications.
SwimSeal contains no alcohol and is made up of a unique formulation that includes tea tree oil. It leaves the ear naturally and should be reapplied every couple of hours. Swim Seal features include:
- Natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal (topical treatment only)
- Prevents trapped water and other water related ear infections.
- Will not build up and cause congestion in the ear
- Does not impair hearing or balance
- Will not sting or dry out the ear
- Suitable for all ages
