Splat Cooking, a leading family cookery school, founded by tv cook, food writer and mother of 3, Beverley Glock, specialises in helping children to cook up some fun!
Inspiring children to prepare and cook proper meals whilst learning about ingredients and having heaps of fun cooking is at the core of the Splat Cooking ethos.
Beverley truly believes that it is enormously beneficial to children to encourage them to cook from an early age as this will help them to grow into healthy, self confident individuals who make informed choices about what they eat.
Splat Cooking have developed a series of cooking clubs, classes and workshops that link to KS1 and 2 at school to inspire children to explore the origins of ingredients, thereby developing an interest in and an understanding of food.
Children learn how to create nutritious and tasty food, a valuable life skill in itself, that brings the family together by preparing, cooking and eating food everyone has helped to make.
"What started as a Christmas present from grandad turned into a passion for cooking and my son is now teaching me a thing or two" says Lou, mum of 8 year old Harry.
Splat Cooking run weekend cooking classes for children, in school cooking clubs, seasonal holiday workshops and birthday cooking parties with availability across London and the home counties, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
