Tiers the season to be jolly

ae052103d62e6912af42e941460e812d.jpgYet another school holiday is upon us. Time to relax and spend time as a family!

We've had lots of enquiries asking where you can see Santa or for ideas of covid safe days out and we have a great list here which includes festive trails, grottos, drive in movies and more.

For more cosy days in, here are our top 5 ideas...

1. Meet Santa virtually
Covid can't stop Santa, and he's coming to a screen near you very soon.  See our list of virtual Santa visits here

2. Online shows
Bring the pantomime into your front room. Whilst many of our arts venues are closed they are pulling out all of the stops to make sure you can still experience the magic, with many running into January. View an online show here

3. Christmas movie time
Who doesn't love diving onto the sofa with a box of popcorn and a favourite Christmas movie? Take a pick from any of these, or why not watch them all!

4. Make and bake time
We don't need an excuse to eat at Christmas and it's even more fun if you've made it yourself. Take a look at some of our Christmas recipes including cinnamon rolls, gingerbread and homemade fudge they all sound absolutely delicious.

5. Party games at home
If you're staying at home, a day of party games can be so much fun. Our Kids Social have put some ae052103d62e6912af42e941460e812d.jpgpacks together to help get the party started https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OurKidsSocial .

We also enjoy classic favourites such as pass the parcel or musical statues. Board games go down well too especially with older children. Some of the favourites in our house are: Simon's Cat, Organ Attack, Catan, Pictionary Air and Flipside (Contains some affiliate links)

However you spend the holidays - we wish you a fun-filled time. We'd love to hear how you spend the next few weeks so let us know if you come across any more brilliant ideas.
