Often known as Pinky Park, Woodheys Park has a play area and an 18 hole pitch and putt course
Crossford Bridge Play Area, M33 7BX
(Sometimes known as Dane Road Park). Next to the playing fields and open space so a great area to run around.
Walton Park, Sale, M33 4FG
With two separate play areas, tennis/ basketball courts and a miniature railway running on Sundays. Look out for Walton Perk, a canal boat, serving delicious hot drinks and snacks.
Walkden Gardens, Sale, M33 3EL
There is no play area at Walkden Gardens but the park is a beautiful hidden gem consisting of several separate areas to explore from the wisteria arch, dovecote, fuschia garden, Japanese garden and theatre lawn.

There are two excellent playgrounds one for infants which includes an aviary which houses cockatiels, zebra finches and budgerigars and a second larger play area for older children which was designed to reflect the surroundings and based upon the river Bollin. Tennis courts and a basketball court are also available.
Stamford Park, Altrincham, WA15 9EP
There are two shaded play areas at the Charter Road end of the park. There is also an old paddling pool which is generally used by children on skateboards, scooters and rollerblades. There is also a duck pond.
Dunham Massey National Trust, Altrincham, WA14 4SJ
Dunham Massey has all the elements of a great medieval deer park. On a walk through the grounds you'll see fine avenues, wide vistas, ancient trees, roaming deer and open grassland.

This much-loved, historic estate is home to a Neo-Classical Mansion, landscaped gardens, a working farm, Tudor Old Hall and over 1,000 acres of deer park.

The park consists of over 100 hectares of open parkland dating from the 13th Century, with historic and ornamental woodlands, open grassland and beautiful wildflower meadows.
