Slowly, slowly, we're starting to see more family attractions opening up, albeit with new guidelines in place to ensure every one can remain as safe as possible.
Here at Raring2go! we're really keen to support our local businesses who have been hugely affected by recent closures. We also want to support families who perhaps need to get out, stretch their legs, spend time together and do something more "normal"
So, if you fancy getting out and about, here's a list of what we've found so far...

National Football Museum
The National Football Museum will reopen on Thursday 23 July – more than four months after closing due to the coronavirus crisis.
Initially, we will be open Thursday to Sunday, 11am – 4pm, and online bookings will be encouraged to safely manage visitor flow. Tickets can be booked from 12pm on Friday 10 July by clicking here: www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/tickets.
Science and Industry Museum

A safe and enjoyable experience is our top priority and we're asking all visitors to book free, timed tickets which will be available online from 31 July.
To help keep you safe we’re limiting the number of visitors that will be in the zoo at any one time. This means that you’ll need to let us know that you are coming by BOOKING ONLINE – (even if you are a member).
South Lakes Safari Zoo
We have restricted the number of people that can visit the Zoo each day to ensure we can comply with social distancing. We are opening slightly earlier and we have implemented hourly arrival time slots from 9:30am through to 3:30pm to stagger visitor arrivals and reduce queues. All members, non-members, and children MUST pre-book tickets.
Knowsley Safari Experience
WE'RE OPEN | ONLINE BOOKINGS ONLY. We’re happy to welcome back visitors to the safari but there are some vital changes in place in order for us to open. We want your visit with us to be really enjoyable, but above all, as safe as possible. That’s why we’ve introduced a number of measures to help keep you and our team safe.
Blackpool Zoo (from Monday 29th June)
It’s been a strange few months for us all, but we’re so excited to be re-opening our gates to the public from Monday 29th June. We're also opening for a preview weekend for Members on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June. Visitor numbers will be limited each day and everyone, including members, will need to book online to guarantee entry. Tickets will be available on Tuesday 23rd June, with Members bookings going live in the morning and general tickets in the afternoon.
Laser Quest Trafford Centre
In line with Government guidance, we expect to be able to reopen on the 4th July 2020. All bookings made for July will be made exclusive to each group up to a maximum of 10 people, no deposit needed to book, deposit only required 48 hours before! Martin Mere Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
To help keep you and our staff, volunteers and local communities safe, we're limiting the number of people who can visit on any one day. And we have introduced a booking system to manage that.
Dunham Massey National Trust
The car park and deer park at Dunham Massey reopened on Wednesday 3 June, you’ll need to book tickets before you visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. We're looking forward to welcoming you back.
We are delighted to announce that our Gardens will be open daily from Monday 8 June, 10am - 6pm (last entry 5pm). To help us manage capacity and ensure the safety of all our visitors, tickets must be booked and purchased in advance of your visit (Garden entry tickets cannot be purchased at the entry gates).
Kenyon Hall Farm - Fruit Picking
For everyone's safety this year we need to restrict numbers and you will need to book online before you come picking.
Dino Falls Adventure Golf
In line with government guidelines on social distancing, we have implemented a new online booking system for Dino Falls Adventure Golf visitors. The safety of our customers and staff is paramount, which is why we are changing our ‘turn up & play’ policy to ensure we can control numbers and reduce queues out on the course.
The Crocky Trail (Opening 4th July)
We now have three sessions per day starting with the morning session for the early birds 9:30 - 12noon then the lunch session 12:30 - 15:00 and for the not so early birds 15:30 - 18:00. Tickets are limited to 100 per session at the moment so make sure you book early to get your slot.
Trafford Treetop Adventures
Slots are limited so be quick, these are sure to sell out! We can't wait to welcome you all back.
We’re bringing adventure back to the high trees and now taking bookings from 4th July onwards. (No-quibble refund policy for COVID-related cancellations) .
