Ingredients
- 8oz self-raising flour
- 2oz butter
- 1oz cheddar cheese
- A little milk to bind
Method
1. Rub flour and butter together.
2. Add cheese and bind ingredients together with milk to form a moist dough.
3. Lightly knead on a floured board cut into six scone shapes.
4. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 185ºC for 8-12 minutes.
These easy cheesy scones are fun to make with the kids and a great addition to any lunch box. Why not use up the leftover bits and pieces in your fridge and mix them with cream cheese to make a yummy filling to fill up hungry tummies?
