The Stick Man Trail, National Memorial Arboretum
Young will enjoy joining Stick Man on his journey back to the family tree. Pick up a free copy of the self-led trail from the Welcome Desk. Don’t forget to wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The route may be unsuitable for some pushchairs and dogs can’t join you on the trail. Afterwards, the NMA has 150 acres to explore!

Trentham Gardens Fairy Trail
The Fairy Trail at Trentham Gardens is a year-round attraction, which will be open during the Easter holidays. Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around our beautiful mile-long lake, and through the woodland and garden, where the Fairies at Trentham live. ​​​​Due to the new one-way system around the gardens and lake, there may be some Fairies that are harder to spot – if there is a certain Fairy you want to see, ask a member of the Gardens Entrance team and they’ll point you in the right direction. Hick’s Lodge, Moira & Cannock Chase, Rugeley
Aha, aho, it’s a Gruffalo! The ever-popular Gruffalo trails are still on at Hick’s Lodge in Moira and in Cannock Chase, Rugeley. You can also now download the new Gruffalo Spotter 2 app: point the brand new app at special markers along the trail and watch the characters from The Gruffalo story come to life. Thanks to amazing augmented reality technology, you’ll be able to interact with each of the characters as they appear within the forest around you. Jinny/Jinnie Nature Trail, Rolleston-on-Dove
The Jinnie Nature Trail is a conservation area stretching along a narrow man-made valley between the villages of Rolleston on Dove and Stretton. The Green Fairy Woods, Lichfield
Set off the Heart of the Country shopping Village (A38), the Green Fairy Woods are home to the Green Fairies who make their doors and homes from recycled materials discarded locally. It’s good to be green, recycling is one of the best ways to fight global warming. The trail takes about 20 – 30 minutes to complete so it’s perfect for little feet and visiting is free of charge. Hunting for the fairies and goblins is fun in every kind of weather. Even on a rainy day, sheltering in our woodland makes for a memorable experience and our picnic area is perfect for a pit stop. The Green Fairy Trail is a non-commercial experience aims at educate visitors about waste and recycling.

Foremark Reservoir
